New breakthrough of PPGI——POWDER COATING STEEL(1).

    Generally speaking,the coating thickness of PPGI is 15-30 um/5-15 um. If It exceeds 30 um, three coatings and three bakes may be required. The process is complex and the operation cost is relatively high.
   

    The coating thickness of POWDER COATING STEEL is 45 um/25 um. By adjusting the powder and coating parameters, the coating thickness can be reached 300 um.It only needs one spray and one solidification to complete, which can greatly reduces the operation cost.

    We took two pieces samples of PPGI from high-end brand and mid-end band respectively.The two samples were tested together with the powder coated steel.

As  shown below,the paint coating surface from high-end brand was faded and foamed seriously.

The paint coating surface from mid-end brand was faded and even peeled off.This cased the substrate material was exposed and corroded.

While the surface of powder coating steel was basically unaffected.
